Larimer County residents are responsible for paying the second half of their 2024 property taxes by June 16.

This deadline applies to Larimer County residents who pay their taxes in two equal installments. Residents have an additional day to file because the typical deadline, June 15, falls on a weekend. On June 17, unpaid taxes will become delinquent and begin to accrue interest, as required by Colorado law.

Those affected should have paid the first half on February 28. Those who paid in full, all at once, should have done so on Apr. 30, with unmade payments becoming delinquent on May 1.

Those needing to pay can do so via credit or debit card online at larimer.gov/treasurer. A fee applies for online card payments, but no fee is charged to those who elect to pay by electronic check. Payments may also be sent through the mail to Larimer County Treasurer, P.O. Box 2336, Fort Collins, CO 80522. Payments that are postmarked by the U.S. Postal Service on or prior to June 15 will be considered on time. A P.O. box is available around the clock at 200 W. Oak St., Fort Collins for payment drop-offs, and in-person payments are accepted at the Treasurer’s Office, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

With questions, reach out to the Treasurer’s Office at (970) 498-7020 or lctreasurer@larimer.org.
