The Rocky Mountain Conservancy has some exciting outdoor activities around the corner as summer gets into full swing.
Lace up your hiking boots and join the conservancy for a guided hike later this month. On June 12, there will be a Women’s Hike to Bridal Veil Falls. On June 17, the conservancy will lead hikers to West Creek Falls and on June 26, back to Bridal Veil Falls again.
The hikes cost $40 including all fees and permits. Get active and reconnect with nature by signing up at https://tinyurl.com/4ybjxv9u.
For the avid anglers out there, the conservancy invited the community to Families on the Water: Introduction to Fly Fishing. This program offers a hands-on outdoor adventure suitable for children aged 5 or older, along with their adult companions.
Sarah, owner of Rambling Ruby Rose Fly-Fishing Guides, leads the all-encompassing fly-fishing expedition, and will teach families about watershed health, ecology and the basics of fly-fishing as families explore the waters of Northern Colorado.
The event is scheduled to run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Fall River Visitor Center in Estes Park. Those interested can register on the conservancy website.
