Noteworthy: Riley belted a home run, had three hits and scored five runs in Rio Hondo Prep’s 22-11 victory over Adelanto in the CIF-SS Division 6 semifinals. In the Kares’ 12-11 win over Katella in the quarterfinals, Riley was 5 for 5 with five runs scored. The Kares will play University on Friday in the championship game in Irvine at 10 a.m.
