Parents encouraged to talk about '13 Reasons Why'

Many youth are currently viewing the trending Netflix series “13 Reasons Why,” based on a young adult novel book by Jay Asher.

Medina City Schools encourages parents to talk to your children about the series and to utilize these resources to help you to do so.

School leaders would also like to repeat the caution made by many professionals that any vulnerable youth, especially those who have any degree of suicidal ideation, are not recommended to watch this series.
