Jo Ann (Russell) Robson passed away Nov. 21, 2016. She would have been 80 years old on Dec. 6. She was born in Cleveland to the late William and Florence (Eischen) Russell.

Jo Ann married Robert J. Robson Sr., March 14, 1953, when they were both teens. She was married to the love of her life for 63 years, raising three children. After 28 years, Jo Ann retired as a surgical tech from Medina Hospital. She was a caring and loving wife, mom and grandmother. Jo Ann was Nan to all of her family. Supportive, loving and loyal to both family and friends. Words cannot describe what she meant to them, and they to her. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, kindness and will be missed by all who knew her.

Jo Ann is survived by her husband, Bob; children, Robert J. (Joy) Robson Jr., Christy Robson Simmons, Kyle (Teri) Robson; grandchildren, Julie (Troy) Barnes, Amy Simmons, Robert (Leslie) Robson III, Katie (Mike) Robson Kiefer, Nick Robson, Dan Robson, Cole (Jade) Munger, Sydney Hill; great-grandchildren, Michael Lade, Andrew Lade, Jake Barnes, Luke Barnes, Charlie Kiefer, Caroline Kiefer; sister, Sandra Scullen; lifelong “sister,” Sandy Robson; and special friend, Yevetta Dunn.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Kathryn Robson; sister, Patricia Dearborn; and brothers, William Russell and Michael Russell. Waite and Son Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
