Doreen Marie Broadsword, 85, of Litchfield, passed away on Nov. 30, 2016 at Medina Village Retirement Center in Medina.

She was born Feb. 2, 1931 in Lodi to Clarence and Katherine (Pfuendstein) Mumford.

She was a lifetime resident of Litchfield, and had been a Litchfield Fire Department Firette.

Doreen had been employed by Burbank Saddlery, helping with their auctions from 1960 to 1995.

She is survived by her children, Sherry (John) Lance and Robert (Deena) Broadsword; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and sister-in-law, Helen Mumford.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Don Mumford; and friend, Sam Collins.
