Brandy Lu Elliott, 39, passed away unexpectedly on Nov. 30, 2016. She was born in Medina on July 6, 1977, to Terry L. and Connie M. (Hawke) Betz. Brandy had a bachelor’s degree in nursing and previously worked as an RN. More recently she stayed at home to support her children. She was a huge Black River football and cheer mom.

Brandy is survived by her husband, William Elliott; children, Evan and Chloe Chase; step-children, Aiden and Dominic Elliott, Tressa and Tyler Endo; her mother, Connie Betz; sister, Jamie (Mark) Jonscher; grandfather, James Hawke; mother-in-law, Judy Kieser; father-in-law, James Elliott; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Terry Betz; and her grandmother, Dorothy Hawke.

A celebration of Brandy’s life will be held from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10, at Medina VFW Post 5137, 3916 Pearl Road, Medina, OH 44256.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions may be made to the family for the children’s college funds.
