Fan gets lesson in pass catching from Brady and Gronk

Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski teamed up to teach a butter-fingered Patriots fan how to catch a football this week. It happened in the crowded dining room at Towne Stove and Spirits, where the QB and the hard-partying pass catcher were attending a fund-raiser for Danny Amendola’s Catches for Kids Foundation. Two guests had bid a bundle of dough for signed Brady jerseys. The winning bids also included catching a pass thrown by Brady. (To the relief of the restaurant’s owner, Patrick Lyons, TB12 was careful to avoid the chandelier.) The first guy caught the ball, but Robert Maroney didn’t, so Brady dispatched Gronk to help. The tight end demonstrated his All-Pro technique, telling Maroney: “When the ball comes in, squish it.’’
