Former Boston city councilor Mike Ross and his fiancee, Karolina Chorvath, (above) attended the opening reception of “Memory Unearthed: The Lodz Ghetto Photographs of Henryk Ross’’ at the Museum of Fine Arts earlier this week. Monday night’s event kicked off with a panel discussion by exhibition curators Kristen Gresh and Maia-Mari Sutnik, and among those in attendance were MFA director Matthew Teitelbaum, artist Bob Freeman, and Lisbeth Tarlow, chair of the MFA’s board of trustees.
