SHC/The Arc announces relocation of Resource Center
SHC/The Arc of Medina County, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing services to people with disabilities, recently announced that it relocated its health equipment lending program: The Resource Center. SHC plans to move The Resource Center from its current location, SHC’s main office, on 4283 Paradise Road in Seville, to its Link building location, also at 4283 Paradise Road in Seville.
Though the move is not far, there will be significant changes in the program. Currently, the Development Department staffs the Resource Center, and it is open Monday through Friday. The new location will be ran by people with disabilities who attend The Link, SHC’s day program, and it will be open on Tuesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Link Day Program assists people with disabilities to be active in their communities through employment, volunteerism, socialization and recreation.
