The election hasn’t happened yet — but we’re told that Karen Van Winkle is poised to become the first female president of the Harvard Club of Boston. Van Winkle has been a member since 1981, and has served on the club’s board of governors since 2011. She currently holds the position of vice president, and will likely take the helm after the election is held at the club’s annual meeting on May 23. If she’s elected prez, she’ll be the first woman to hold the title since the club was founded in 1908.
