With a complex blocking pattern aloft, cloudiness and easterly winds as a result of a very slow moving low pressure far to our south, temperatures will remain on the cool side but work their way a little farther into the 60s Wednesday. With the easterly winds, temps will continue quite cool in the 50s along the Lake Michigan shoreline.
The blocking pattern will continue to influence our weather while it slowly weakens Thursday and Friday, allowing a little more sun each day as well as influencing a temperature rise into the 70s by Friday.
Saturday will see winds finally with a more southerly component, allowing warmer and increasingly more humid air into our area with a chance of showers and thunderstorms nudging their way into the forecast.
