First, Cubs owners sell outto ultra-conservative Sinclair Broadcasting, and now they host a gathering of big-spending Trump contributors. They’re making it very hard to remain a Cubs fan. What’s lovable about them now?
How sad it must be to believe that scientists, scholars, historians, economists, and journalists have devoted their entire lives to deceiving you, while a reality TV star with decades of fraud and exhaustively documented lying is your only beacon of truth and honesty.
Face reality. If Fair Oaks farm is forced to close, a lot of those cows will be protected by the steel walls of a dog food can.
After reading about and viewing the very public Fair Oaks Farms investigative report (PostTribune and others) on the cruel and inhumane treatment of its calves, I am distraught and sickened by so much cruelty. How it could take an investigative group 3 months before making findings public is as disgusting as the findings. To the CEO of FairOaks Farm, remember, the cruel employees were confident that this cruelty could and did happen on your watch. Your accepting blame and going on “business as usual” isn’t acceptable. If you can sleep at night after this, there’s something wrong! The one thing this holocaust is missing is the fire, but if you could see the branding irons used on those calves…such a shame for those beautiful, helpless trapped animals. You’ve lost my business Mr. CEO.
Just as a public service announcementto my more mischief-minded neighbors: when Amazon drone delivery kicks off, please remember that while bird shot comes back down pretty safely and without much energy, bullets remain dangerous. Please, only use bird shot, preferably wetlands-safe steel shot when bringing down drones to plunder.
Is veal illegal? Someone should inform the Italian restaurants.
Sean Hannity of Fox Newscomplaining, without any hint of irony, “Based on no actual crimes, Nancy Pelosi wants a political opponent locked up in prison. Umm, that’s what happens in a banana republic. Beyond despicable behavior.” We are currently in a banana republic, and this statement coming from Sean Hannity, the sycophant to Putin’s sycophant is pretty funny.
In an interview with conservative flame-thrower Laura Ingraham and with the cemetery at Normandy plainly visible in the background, Trump calls Robert Mueller “a fool,” and Nancy Pelosi “a disaster.” Think about it. This is how low America has sunk An ignoble president mocking his political opponents at the very site where brave men lie buried who sacrificed their lives to displace the kind of tyrant that president professes to admire. Even to “love.”
The Saudi regime that Trump admires so much, has murdered a journalist, executed 37 political dissidents in the past year, and now threatens to execute an 18-year old boy arrested at the age of 13 and held in detention ever since. Trump loves how monsters like these and Putin and Kim Jong Un “keep order” in their “kingdoms.”
Trump will use every holiday and national event to campaign for office. Everything has to be about him.
Well, the embarrassing class act, phony Mr. Bone Spurs did it again! He criticized Mueller and Pelosi while on foreign soil with the crosses of killed D-Day soldiers in the background. He has no shame or sense of propriety and never knows when to keep his big mouth shut.
