


Bishop Noll to host STEM Summer Camp
Bishop Noll Institute will host a STEM Summer Camp, for children in kindergarten through eighth grade, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 8-12, July 15-19 and July 22-26 at 1519 Hoffman St., Hammond. Children may attend one, two or three weeks. The cost is $125 per camper per week. Discounts are available for families with more than one child. Through a grant from the Foundations of East Chicago, East Chicago residents may attend any Bishop Noll summer enrichment programs at no charge. Proof of residency is required. Free dental education camp for teens
Indiana University Northwest invites high school students to explore careers in dental education at a free camp from 1 to 5 p.m. June 21 at 3400 Broadway, Gary. Students will tour the Dental Education Clinic and laboratory and meet dental education faculty, staff and students. They will learn about each of the different dental education careers. Sailing camp program for children
South Shore Nautical Foundation, in cooperation with the Michigan City Yacht Club, is offering a Sailing Camp program, for children 8 and older at 12-1/2 On The Lake, Michigan City, in Washington Park. Children may choose from one of two sessions a day: 9 a.m. to noon or 1 to 4 p.m. Four two-week sessions will offered June 17-28; July 1-12; July 15-26; and July 29 to Aug. 9. The cost is $300 per session. The program is designed to teach the skills needed to sail and race. Classes are tailored to the age and ability of each student emphasizing the fun of sailing.
