Monteverde, the West Loop Italian restaurant helmed by James Beard-winning chef Sarah Grueneberg, is now open for weekend lunch. The Taste of Korea festival launches its inaugural event this weekend, inviting exploration of the country’s flavors and cultural offerings. Over two days, food stalls will sell traditional and contemporary Korean fare, including bulgogi tacos, kimchi tots and mandoo dumplings, while a beer and soju garden will offer drinks. The festival also will host singing and dance contests, traditional and contemporary performances, and taekwondo celebrations. Free to attend.
