Both presidential candidates will be campaigning in Metro Detroit this week.

Republican former President Donald Trump is scheduled to participate in a roundtable discussion in Oakland County at 5 p.m. Friday. He will also hold a rally in Detroit, according to two sources with knowledge of the plans.

The details of his Detroit visit haven’t been announced.

Democrat Vice President Kamala Harris was in Detroit Tuesday to participate in a radio town hall event with host Charlamagne Tha God. Then, on Friday, she will hold campaign events in Grand Rapids, Lansing and Oakland County. And on Saturday, she will hold another event in Detroit.

Both Harris and Trump have been focusing on Michigan, with its 15 electoral votes. The Nov. 5 election will take place 18 days after the visits on Friday.

Trump was last in Michigan last week to speak to members of the Detroit Economic Club. The Friday roundtable in Oakland County is being organized by a group called Building America’s Future. Members of the public can attend the event.
