(Records through Sunday)
1. LA MIRADA (21-4)
La Mirada is 5-0 in the Gateway League with three games to play. It likely needs to beat Mayfair in the league finale next week for the outright league title. The Matadores are ranked No. 5 in the CIF Southern Section computer rankings, and are nearly a lock for the Open Division of the CIF-SS playoffs.

2. GLENDORA (22-3)
The Tartans have won 20 straight games and are 7-0 in the Palomares League. They finish league with games against Claremont, Bonita and Walnut. Only Walnut has a chance to at least share the title with them. The Tartans are No. 40 in the CIF-SS rankings, which puts them on the Division 1 and 2 bubble.

3. PASADENA (12-6)
The Bulldogs returned from their break due to the Eaton fire and showed little rust. They led from start to finish in a 56-50 win over Arcadia and will be favored in their final five Pacific League games. They have size and guard play. They will be a tough out in the playoffs.

4. LA CANADA (17-3)
The Spartans missed a lot of games because of the Eaton fire, but are 3-0 in the Rio Hondo League with a busy week ahead. They play three games in three days, taking on South Pasadena (Monday), San Marino (today) and South Pasadena (Wednesday). They’re putting together a very solid season.

5. DAMIEN (18-9)
The Spartans were No. 19 in last week’s CIF-SS rankings, but then had Baseline League losses to Rancho Cucamonga and Etiwanda and a nonleague loss to San Clemente. They still seam like a sure bet for the Division 1 playoffs, but it will be curious how far its drops when the next rankings are released. The Spartans host Upland in the first round of the Baseline League tournament on Wednesday.

6. BISHOP AMAT (20-5)
The Lancers suffered their first Camino Real League loss, falling to Salesian 56-55. But they rebounded with a win at Paraclete to move to 5-1 in league. They can clinch the league title outright Wednesday by winning their road game at Bosco Tech.

7. ST. PAUL (15-9)
The Swordsmen are on a four-game win streak and are 6-2 in the Del Rey League. They are playing their best basketball of the season. They are in a three-way tie for first in league and have a big game at Long Beach St. Anthony on Friday.

8. LA HABRA (18-8)
The Highlanders still have a lofty spot (No. 30) in the CIF-SS rankings, but four straight losses and a 2-4 record in the Crestview League might put their playoff hopes in jeopardy. They would seem like a lock for an at-large playoff berth, but you can’t take anything for granted until the pairings are released.

9. ST. FRANCIS (16-9)
The Golden Knights, who are No. 34 in the CIF-SS rankings, are a team that could slip to Division 2 in the playoffs. But with an 0-4 record in the Mission League, will they get in? Great schedule, tough league, but still a good overall record. It will be interesting to see if a team that loses all of its league games can make the playoffs.

10. LOS ALTOS (19-5)
The Conquerors are 5-0 in the Hacienda League and are a good bet to go undefeated the rest of the way. It’s not a lock. They should beat South Hills on Wednesday, but then finish with San Dimas and Alta Loma, their two toughest league games.
