FREMONT >> A 22-year-old San Jose woman died Sunday morning following a crash on an Interstate 880 offramp, the California Highway Patrol said.

She was identified by the coroner’s bureau Monday as Luisa Jaramillo Graciano.

The crash happened about 7:30 a.m. Sunday on the southbound offramp from I-880 to Auto Mall Parkway, the CHP said.

The CHP said Jaramillo Graciano was driving alone in a Toyota Prius and was not wearing a seat belt when the crash happened. The impact caused her to be ejected from the vehicle, and she was pronounced dead at the scene, Officer Kylie Musselman said.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. The CHP is trying to determine if drugs or alcohol were factors.

Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call the CHP Hayward office at 510-489-1500.
