A high school teacher and coach for the Western Placer Unified School District is being investigated by his employer after his appearance in a viral “To Catch a Predator” style TikTok livestream.

The video shows the man engaging in a sexually-charged conversation with the streamer, who he is told is a 15-year-old girl, from his classroom.

The man has been identified by students and parents as Kyle Morris. Morris taught the Media Arts career technical education pathway and also coached the girls flag football and boys lacrosse teams at Lincoln High School.

Western Placer Unified administration sent an email to Lincoln High families late last week about the video, notifying them that the staff member was immediately placed on administrative leave and that they are working with the Lincoln Police Department on an investigation into the teacher’s conduct.

Known streamer

Streamer RobTheMaster, who has 1.2 million followers on TikTok, is known for his streams in which he seeks to expose predators by catfishing as an underage girl. He found Morris via Emerald Chat, a site that anonymously connects people from around the world.

In the livestream clip, the streamer identifies himself as a 15-year-old named “Lia.” When Lia asks Morris what brings him to the online chatroom, he responds that he is “bored and horny.”

RobTheMaster prompts Morris to play truth or dare and their communication moves to Snapchat. When the streamer dares Morris to send a photo of himself, the teacher sends a heavily edited photo of himself that appears to be from a school classroom.

When Morris asks Lia to return the favor, RobTheMaster sends a photo he saved from moodboard site Pinterest. After the teacher saved Lia’s photos to his camera roll, Lia asks him to delete the photos to prevent her parents from finding out.

The streamer then dares the teacher to get on a video call to continue their game. RobTheMaster uses a voice modifier to sound like a girl during their conversation. During a “truth” round, the teacher asks Lia what she is wearing and reveals that he has a wife and child.

After a dare prompt from Lia, Morris turns on his camera to reveal that he is in a classroom. He said that he is at work after hours and the Lincoln High logo can be seen in the background.

Morris dares Lia to turn on her camera after a few more minutes of chatting, to which the catfish warns him that she is naked.

“I literally just got out the shower because I just got home from volleyball practice,” RobTheMaster says in a feminine voice. “I was sweaty so right now I’m literally naked. I’m not wearing anything.”

When the streamer asks Morris if he still wants them to turn the camera on, Morris says yes. After some stalling, RobTheMaster turns on his camera to reveal his true appearance.

“Oh good lord. That’s gross,” Morris says before ending the call.

The clip concludes with RobTheMaster repeatedly calling the man a cheater.

“What’s gross is he’s a cheater, and he’s cheating on his wife … with an underage girl,” he says.

The full interaction between the stream and Morris has 30,000 views on Youtube and a clipped version has 412,000 views on TikTok.
