Woodland Police Officers provided a referral to one of the Crisis Clinicians they work alongside daily on calls for service. During initial contacts with officers, the client appeared not to meet specific criteria for a mental health hold. However, the officers who contacted the client believed they could use a higher level of support. The Crisis Clinician was aware of who the individual was and the services they were already engaged with. She spent an extended amount of time making follow-up phone calls, contacts, and ultimately reconnecting the client with appropriate services.

This is a synopsis of reports provided by the Woodland Police Department, and does not include all calls or arrests or some cases which are under active investigation.
