1. LA MIRADA (19-4)
La Mirada is 3-0 in the Gateway League and No. 4 in the CIF Southern Section rankings, making it almost a virtual lock for the Open Division of the playoffs. When La Mirada is on, it can beat anyone.

2. GLENDORA (20-3)
The Tartans won their 20th straight game in overtime against Walnut, 71-66, to move to 5-0 in the Palomares League. They begin the second half of league play at home against Ayala today.

3. DAMIEN (18-6)
The Spartans beat Crean Lutheran in a showcase game Saturday and moved to 3-0 in the Baseline League with wins also over Chino Hills and Los Osos. But the big games come next against Rancho Cucamonga on Wednesday and Etiwanda on Friday.

4. PASADENA (10-6)
The Bulldogs haven’t played since the Eaton fire broke out, but are hopeful they can return Thursday at Burbank. Their last game was a 65-40 loss to Heritage Christian on Jan. 3.

5. LA CANADA (14-3)
The Spartans played their first game this month on Saturday, beating Valencia 75-57. The Spartans have not played a Rio Hondo League game due to the Eaton fire, but are scheduled to resume Wednesday at Temple City.

6. BISHOP AMAT (19-4)
The Lancers are having one of their best regular seasons in years as they are 4-0 in the Camino Real League. They beat Bosco Tech 61-58 to close the first round of league games.

7. LA HABRA (18-6)
The Highlanders are 19th in the CIF-SS computer rankings, but suffered back-to-back Crestview League losses to Canyon and Foothill to drop to 2-2 in league. They look to bounce back against Cypress and Crean Lutheran this week.

8. ST. FRANCIS (13-7)
The Golden Knights were playing well, but had a rough start to Mission League play with losses to Notre Dame and Crespi.

9. LOS ALTOS (17-4)
The Conquerors moved to 4-0 in the Hacienda League with wins over San Dimas and Alta Loma last week. They begin the second half of league play this week.

The Swordsmen have won two of their last three, beating Serra and St. Monica to go to 3-2 in the Del Rey League.
