Eastpointe-based Detroit Wing Company (DWC) this week rolled out new items to its expanded menu, including wraps, sandwiches, salads, and for a limited time, Blue Heat Taki Tenders.
DWC officials say the expanded menu items are in response to a growing demands for lighter meal selections while keeping the flavorful choices the company has become known for.
“At DWC, we never rest on our successes,” Gus Malliarais, founder of Detroit Wing Company, said in a news release. “We’re always pushing to innovate while staying true to what we do best — offering fresh, high-quality offerings that our customers love.”
DWC will offer a variety of new options, including:
• Wraps: Chicken Bacon Ranch, Buffalo Chicken Caesar, Spicy Chicken and Honey BBQ Chicken
• Sandwiches: Classic Crispy Chicken, Crispy Chicken BLT, Nashville Hot and Honey BBQ
• Salads: Greek Chicken Salad, Honey BBQ Chicken Salad and Buffalo Chicken Chopped Wedge
• Sides: Nashville Hot Cheese Fries, Garlic Parmesan Fries and Funnel Cake Fries
In addition, DWC has updated some of its classic and boneless wing portions, now available in sizes ranging from 5, 10, 20, 30, 50 and 100 wings. Hand-battered tenders are also available in servings of two, four or six.
The new wraps and sandwiches are priced at $9.99, with salads available for $11.99. Customers can also complete any wing order with French fries and a beverage for just $3.99.
Also, just time for football season, DWC is offering for a limited-time Blue Heat Taki Tenders.
The hand-battered tenders are coated in crushed Blue Heat Takis, served with ranch and fries. Takis are a type of rolled corn tortilla chip known for their spicy, intense taste.
Detroit Wing Company’s Macomb County stores are in Chesterfield Township, Eastpointe, Roseville, Sterling Heights, Warren and Washington Township. In neighboring Oakland County, locations include Ferndale, Novi, Southfield, Troy and Waterford Township.
