Earth Day event: Wildomar Beautification Volunteers host the fifth annual Earth Day Community Cleanup and Celebration in Wildomar April 5 at Marna O’Brien Park, 20505 Palomar St. Registration, with snacks, begins at 7 a.m. and cleanup starts at 8 a.m. The event includes a vendor and craft fair 8 a.m.-noon with food, games and more.

Garden tour: The Riverside-San Bernardino chapter of the California Native Plant Society offers a Spring Native Garden Ramble, a tour of four gardens in Redlands between 9 a.m. and noon and four in Riverside and Moreno Valley between noon and 4 p.m. There is no charge, but registration is required at eventbrite.com

Historical society: The Lake Elsinore Historical Society meets 1 p.m. the first Tuesday of each month except July and August at the city’s Cultural Center, 183 N. Main St. (Use the Heald Avenue entrance.) The museum is open 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays and 1-4 p.m. Sundays. Bingo: The Riverside Elks Lodge, 6166 Brockton Ave., offers bingo every Wednesday, with proceeds supporting scholarships for local primary and secondary school students and other local and national charitable causes.
