1. ARCADIA (22-2)

The Apaches have clinched at least a share of the Pacific League title with a 12-0 record and need to beat Crescenta Valley at home (today) or away (Friday) to win the title outright. They’re No. 8 in the CIF-SS computer rankings.

2. LA MIRADA (19-6)

The Matadores’ victory over Bellflower clinched the Gateway League title thanks to Gahr losing twice to Warren. Now the Matadores get a break until next week when they have a nonleague showdown with Arcadia just before the playoffs begin.

3. BISHOP AMAT (19-5)

The Lancers had a six game winning streak snapped in a 6-3 loss to Villa Park. They’re 9-0 in the Del Rey League and need one win in a three-game series this week with La Salle to clinch the league title. The Lancers’ first chance to clinch is today at home. Amat is No. 2 in the CIF-SS rankings.

4. SOUTH HILLS (17-6)

The Huskies’ pitching has been outstanding. Over their last four games against Los Altos and San Dimas, they have allowed three runs total. They’re 8-0 in the Hacienda League with two games this week against Colony, which is 6-2 in league. If they beat Colony on Wednesday they clinch the league title.

5. GANESHA (16-3)

The Giants have clinched the Miramonte League title and have just two games, against Workman, remaining before the playoffs start. They’re No. 94 in the CIF-SS rankings, which puts them on the Division 3 / 4 cutline. That would be a great outcome for them.

6. MARANATHA (15-6-1)

The Minutemen won the Central Coast Classic by going 4-0 last week, and they have won 13 straight overall. They host Valley Christian today with a chance to clinch the Olympic League title. They’re finally playing at the level many expected this season.

7. MONROVIA (19-4)

Monrovia’s pitching was on display in a two-game series with San Marino last week that ended in a split. Monrovia won at home, 1-0. San Marino scored late to post a 3-1 victory to close the week. Both teams have two league loss, but the Wildcats have only two league games left. They play La Canada twice this week.

8. ST. PAUL (16-7)

The Swordsmen have won five straight after a 4-0 win over Serra. The Swordmsen need to beat Serra again today to clinch at least third place in the Del Rey League. If they win and Amat can win two of three from La Salle, they can finish second.

9. SAN MARINO (17-6)

Titans pitcher Tomas Bilvado was solid in a 3-1 victory over Monrovia. They lost 1-0 earlier in the week to Monrovia and have no room for error over their last four Rio Hondo League games. They have a chance to win outright or share the league title.

10. BONITA (15-7)

The Bearcats beat Glendora twice last week to go to 10-1 in the Palomares League. Ayala is 11-1 in league and the Bearcts play the Bulldogs three times this week to decide the league title. Bonita hosts the first game today.
