Noteworthy: The Eagles’ 6-foot-11 sophomore helped SGA win the CIF State Division III title, the school’s first state championship. Diop had 20 points, 13 rebounds and seven blocks in the Eagles’ 52-51 victory over King’s Academy in the state Division III championship game. He had 16 points, 16 rebounds and seven blocks in the Eagles’ 58-49 victory over Pasadena in the SoCal regional final March 11.
