The League of Women Voters of Estes Park is seeking volunteers to assist with the upcoming Estes Recycles Day, scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 9.

The annual event, held from 9 a.m. to noon in the main parking lot of the Estes Park Events Complex, allows residents and businesses to responsibly dispose of hard-to-recycle items.

This year’s collection will include scrap metal, electronics, microwaves, smoke detectors, bicycle tires and tubes, and paper for shredding.

Organizers say additional volunteers are needed to help guide traffic, assist at collection stations and ensure smooth operation throughout the morning.

Those interested in volunteering are asked to contact Lisa at estesrecycles2025@gmail.com by July 1.

Estes Recycles Day is a community-driven effort to promote sustainability and reduce landfill waste by collecting items that are difficult to recycle through standard curbside services.
