


Assault with a deadly weapon: On Aug. 5 at around noon, officers responded to the former Gottschalks business on the 1200 block of E. Gibson Road for the report of an assault. An adult male was found with moderate injuries from being struck with a weapon. The male was transported to UC Davis Medical Center for treatment. There was no suspect description at the time, and the investigation is ongoing.
Hit and run, DUI arrest: On Aug. 5 at around 7:33 p.m., officers were dispatched to the report of a traffic collision near W. Gibson Road and Cottonwood Street. Officers identified the suspect, 31 year-old Woodland resident Remigio Martinez-Antunez. He was arrested and booked into the Yolo County Jail for DUI and hit and run.
Shooting: On Aug. 8 at around 12:59 a.m., an officer heard gunshots in the area of Oak Avenue and East Street. Officers began checking the area and located several expended shell casings. No victims or suspects were located during the search. It is unknown if there was an intended victim.
DUI Arrest: On Aug. 10 at around 9:18 p.m., officers were dispatched to the area for the report of a reckless driver in the area of W. Court Street and West Street. It was reported a vehicle was driving with no lights on and was swerving all over the road. The vehicle was a Dodge SUV and the license plate was provided. Officers located the vehicle near West Street and W. Hays St. The driver, a 29-year-old Woodland resident Bianca Perez was determined to be driving under the influence. She was arrested and booked into the Yolo County Jail.
HOST
Host Officers helped with patrol staffing. Host Officers assisted the SWAT Team with Crisis Negotiations during an operation.
HOST made 20 contacts, and offered services to two of them and they accepted. There were two large camps tagged, located and cleaned up. There were two downtown patrols.
