Gary police are asking for the community's help in identifying two men suspected in a robbery.
A 55-year-old woman “was rushed from behind and robbed” Nov. 18 in the 2200 block of West 11th Avenue in Gary. The woman “suffered internal injuries as a result of the attack,” Lt. Dawn Westerfield said in a release.
All leads for the identity of the two suspects have gone cold, according to Westerfield, and the department is releasing surveillance photos from the unnamed business the woman was leaving.
Anyone with information on either of the suspects should call Detective Sgt. Michael Barnes at 219-881-1210 or the Crime Tip Line at 866-274-6347.
