As the school year winds down, Scripps College in Claremont is hosting its annual senior art exhibition, this year called “Whiplash.”
Works from 12 artists are on display at the Ruth Chandler Williamson Gallery, 251 E 11th St., on campus through May 17, according to a campus news release.
The artists “explore the interplay between control and chaos and reflect on how they navigate intense moments,” according to the release, “while inviting audiences to embrace” change.
Each spring, Scripps College hosts the exhibition, which lets the college’s art majors “display their own selections in a museum setting for public engagement and discourse,” the release says.
The Ruth Chandler Williamson Gallery is open from noon-4 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday, through the exhibition. Admission is free.
