Mill Valley police officers arrested a man accused of threatening and shoving a Golden Gate Transit driver.
The incident happened at about 10:45 a.m. Sunday on a bus in downtown Mill Valley, police Lt. Shaun McCracken said. The alleged attack happened after the suspect grew upset about boarding the incorrect bus, McCracken said.
The suspect left on a bicycle, and an officer detained him. Terrence Edward Reynolds, 47, of San Rafael was booked into the Marin County Jail on suspicion of battery, making a criminal threat and possessing a controlled substance.
Reynolds was booked without a bail amount because he allegedly possessed illegal drugs with two prior convictions, according to jail records.
The Marin County District Attorney’s Office filed misdemeanor charges of battery on a transportation worker, possessing a controlled substance and possessing drug paraphernalia. An arraignment was set for Tuesday afternoon.
