Michigan will play two of its first four games on the road in 2025, including at Oklahoma on Sept. 6 and Nebraska in the Big Ten opener on Sept. 20.
The Big Ten announced the 2025 conference schedules on Wednesday. Last year, the Big Ten announced the five-year conference opponents schedule for all the teams, but did not include dates for those games.
Michigan will have six games at Michigan Stadium, including Ohio State on Nov. 29, but will not play back-to-back games at home the entire season. The Wolverines will travel to Michigan State on Oct. 25 for the in-state rivalry game.
The Wolverines will open the season at home against New Mexico before traveling to Oklahoma, the alma mater of Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore, who played on the offensive line there during the 2006 and 2007 seasons. This is the first time Michigan has played at Oklahoma, and the first time the teams will meet since the 1976 Orange Bowl.
Then Michigan will have a bye before returning home to face Wisconsin on Oct. 4 for homecoming. They travel to USC on Oct. 11 for their first regular-season game since 1957. They then return home to face Washington on Oct. 18.
Michigan will open November at home against Purdue on Nov. 1 and will have back-to-back road games against Northwestern on Nov. 15 — at Wrigley Field — and Maryland on Nov. 22 before returning home for the regular-season finale against Ohio State.
