• Bocce with the Brothers annual fundraising event to benefit the Capuchin Ministries, including the Capuchin Soup Kitchen is 5 p.m. April 11 at Villa Penna in Sterling Heights. HHW disposal/Shredding

• Cornerstone Community Credit Union is hosting a community Shred Day event, 9 a.m.-noon, April 12, at Troy Family Aquatic Center, 3425 Civic Center Drive, Troy. Items will be retrieved from vehicles and shredded on site, limit of three boxes/bags per car, no plastic bags.
