Noteworthy: The catcher helped her team reach the semifinals of the La Mirada tournament. In the Condors’ 13-4 win over Schurr, Chavolla belted a grand slam and finished with two hits and five RBIs. Chavolla also went 2 for 4 with an RBI in a 4-0 shutout over Granada Hills Charter. The Condors will take on host La Mirada in the tournament semifinals Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
