California Botanic Garden in Claremont will host an outdoor screening Saturday of the 2024 animated film “Flow,” which imagines a world transformed by natural disaster and the bonds that form as a result.

The event begins at 7 p.m. with premovie trivia and craft activities, and the film will begin about 8 p.m., according to a news release.

California Botanic Garden will provide folding chairs, but those attending may bring their own.

Tickets are $19 for adults, $14 for seniors and students and $5 for children ages 3-12.

Every paid ticket includes popcorn with an optional native plant-infused topping, according to a news release. Flavors include atriplex barbecue, Parmesan black sage and caramel mesquite. Nonalcoholic drinks and additional popcorn also will be available for purchase.

The screening is part of Cinema Botanica, the garden’s nature-themed outdoor film series. The series will continue with “Giants Rising” on Aug. 7.
