


Joshua Pruett, a New York Times bestselling author who has also written for TV series including “Phineas and Ferb,” “Mystery Science Theater 3000” and “Doctor Who,” will talk about his new book, “Gyro and the Argonauts,” at 10 a.m.-noon July 13 in Temecula.
Pruett’s presentation, at Pennypickle’s Workshop, 42081 Main St., will also be hosted by the Temecula Valley Writers & Illustrators and In Bloom Bookery, according to a news release.
“Gyro and the Argonauts” is a twist on Greek mythology for children and tweens — or anyone who loves monsters and mayhem, according to the news release.
Tickets for the event are $10, available through Pennypickle’s Workshop by calling 951-308-6376. The ticket price provides refreshments and and monster-themed fun.
