Four suspected shoplifters from Toledo, Ohio were arrested by Bloomfield Township police a few days ago for allegedly stealing from Ulta Beauty on Telegraph Road and several other stores.

According to Bloomfield Township police, three of the women were reportedly seen loading Ulta bags with perfume and other merchandise while at the store at around 3 p.m. on Oct. 23. They then fled the store without paying and left in a Chrysler 200 with an Ohio registration plate, driven by a fourth suspect, police said.

Officers located the vehicle and stopped it, spotting Ulta bags and merchandise inside it, police said.

The four women in the car, who were taken into custody, were identified as Dajuandolyn Ramey, 19 — the driver — and passengers Kahshyrah Winters, 21, Ja’Mee Hoskins, 26, and Gloria Nelson, 27.

The vehicle was impounded, and a subsequent search turned up merchandise from Ulta Beauty, TJ Maxx and Bath & Body Works — all in Bloomfield Township — and a Dick’s Sporting Goods store in another community, police said. The recovered stolen merchandise was valued at more than $3,200, police said.

All four women are charged with first-degree retail fraud, while Ramey and Winters are also charged with third-degree retail fraud.

Ramey has an additional charge of driving with a suspended license.

At arraignment in 48th District Court, Magistrate Julie Nelson-Klein set bond at $50,000 cash/surety for Winters, Nelson and Hoskins, and $35,000 cash/surety for Ramey.
