Shelley and Greg McArthur, owners of NTL Industries in Sterling Heights have been named the Michigan Small Business Association’s 2025 Small Business Persons of the Year.

The husband and wife duo founded the CNC percision machine shop in 2017.

NTL has evolved into a 13,200-sq-foot facility that focuses on the defense and aerospace industries.

The McArthurs have also donated parts for the Formula One racing teams at Michigan universities. NTL is an SBA-certified Women-Owned Small Business. NTL utilized the APEX Accelerators to increase their knowledge of government contracting.

“SBA is pleased to recognize Greg and Shelley McArthur as the 2025 Michigan Small Business Persons of the Year,” said Laketa Henderson, SBA’s Michigan District Director. “The McArthurs leveraged SBA programs to grow their family business, strengthen the state’s manufacturing sector and bolster Michigan’s vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem.”

The McArthurs are candidates for the U.S. Small Business Administration Persons of the Year award which will be announced in May during the annual National Small Business Week event in Washington D.C.
