FIRST TEAM

Delaney Aumua, IF/OF, Granada, senior: Auburn commit was named co-EBAL offensive player of the year after hitting .476 with 33 RBIs, 30 hits, 31 runs scored, 23 extra-base hits and 19 home runs. Also fielded her position well, completing 99% of possible putouts.

Ava Bulanti, P, St. Francis, senior: All-around player hit .389 with 39 RBIs, eight home runs and 18 runs scored. In the circle, compiled a 1.96 ERA and a 14-1 record with 112 strikeouts. The Stanford commit was named West Catholic Athletic League co-pitcher of the year.

Alanna Clincy, P, Willow Glen, junior: Bay Area News Group player of the year and a Cal commit led the Rams to undefeated regular season and CCS Open Division final. Compiled a 0.39 ERA, going 22-0 with 216 strikeouts in 125 2/3 innings. Also contributed with the bat, hitting .290 with 25 RBIs.

Jayda Crosby, SS/OF, California, senior: Fresno State commit hit .537 with 51 hits, 38 runs scored, 29 RBIs, 21 extra-base hits and six home runs. Also stole 10 bases. East Bay Athletic League co-offensive player of the year.

Kyleigh Mace, P, Archbishop Mitty, junior: BYU commit held opponents to a 0.84 ERA in 19 appearances and 116 1/3 innings, striking out 159. Also defended position well with a fielding percentage of 97.3%. Co-WCAL pitcher of the year.

Kaitlyn Macias, P/1B, Liberty, junior: Bay Valley Athletic League player of the year hit .470 with 22 runs scored, 39 hits, 40 RBIs, 18 extra-base hits and 10 home runs. Weber State commit also went 5-0 with a 0.77 ERA.

Laine Macosky, SS, Livermore, junior: Junior committed to Northwestern hit .488 with 30 RBIs, 40 hits and 29 runs scored in 27 games. EBAL first-team selection.

Catalina Medina, OF/P, Willow Glen, sophomore: Hit .391 with 29 runs scored, 36 hits and 17 RBIs while anchoring the Rams’ outfield defense. Also contributed in the circle with a 1.11 ERA and 31 strikeouts in 31 2/3 innings pitched. BVAL Mt. Hamilton sophomore of the year.

Avery Motroni, C/IF, Capuchino, senior: Senior committed to Arizona State hit .511 with 46 hits, 34 RBIs, 17 extra-base hits and 24 runs scored. Battled back from injury to catch select games and played infield while recovering from a patellar tendon tear. PAL Bay first-teamer.

Katia Nesper, P, The King’s Academy, junior: Left-handed pitching savant committed to Northwestern recorded an ERA of 0.33, going 16-2 in the circle with 249 strikeouts, three no-hitters, 11 shutouts and 13 complete games. Hit .306 with 15 RBIs. Co-PAL Bay Division pitcher of the year.

Ellie Novitske, SS, Foothill, senior: The Nebraska-Omaha commit hit .494 with 40 hits, 30 RBIs and 17 runs scored, including 16 extra-base hits. Led Foothill to NCS Division I semifinal against top seed Liberty as a 13 seed.

Jaime Oakland, OF, St. Francis, junior: WCAL player of the year hit .577 with 24 RBIs and 41 runs scored as the tone-setter at the top of the Lancers’ lineup. The Nebraska commit had 60 hits with an on-base percentage of .604 and an OPS of 1.229.

Lola Sierra, P, Capuchino, senior: PAL Bay pitcher of the year compiled a 2.27 ERA in 27 appearances, going 15-6 in the circle with a save, 129 strikeouts and a run-rule shortened five-inning no-hitter. In the no-hitter, she also drove in five runs with three doubles at the plate. Overall, hit .402 with 15 runs scored, 33 hits and 26 RBIs.

Kate Skinner, P, Liberty, senior: Most valuable pitcher of the Bay Valley Athletic League had a 2.16 ERA and a record of 17-5 with 209 strikeouts. The Illinois State commit also hit .292 with a home run.

Peyton Tsao, SS, St. Francis, sophomore: Sophomore star hit .398 with 50 RBIs, 40 runs scored and 37 extra-bases hits to anchor the Lancers’ offense in the three-spot. WCAL first-teamer.

Ariela Yslava, P/OF, Gilroy, senior: BVAL Mt. Hamilton Division MVP. Hit .400 with 33 RBIs, 25 runs scored, 34 hits and 29 extra-base hits, including seven homers. In the circle, had a 0.75 ERA while pitching 130 2/3 innings and striking out 178.

SECOND TEAM

Julianna Altamirano, P/1B, Live Oak, sophomore: Two-way player hit .418 with 28 hits, 10 runs scored, 19 RBIs. In the circle, went 13-1 with a 1.20 ERA. BVAL Santa Teresa pitcher of the year.

Mia Brady, SS/OF, Alhambra, senior: Hit .416 with 28 runs, 32 hits, 19 RBIs and six extra-base hits. DAL Foothill co-MVP.

DeAmor Coleman, P/SS, Salesian, sophomore: Hit .551 with 33 runs scored, 49 hits, 20 RBIs, 19 extra-base hits. Went 17-0 in the circle with a 1.39 ERA. Tri-County Athletic League Rock Division co-pitcher of the year.

Izabella Holt, OF, Clayton Valley, sophomore: Sophomore sensation hit .447 with 26 runs scored, 34 hits, 27 RBIs. Diablo Athletic League first-teamer.

Sophia Jin, OF, San Ramon Valley, senior: Senior committed to Stanford hit .436 with 20 runs scored and 24 hits as a top-of-the-lineup threat. EBAL first-teamer.

Lola Jones, P/1B, Hillsdale, junior: Co-PAL Bay player of the year hit .282 with 24 hits, 21 RBIs and three home runs. In the circle, compiled 2.01 ERA with 173 strikeouts. Led Hillsdale to CIF NorCal Division III championship.

Allison Lui, P/OF, Notre Dame-Belmont, senior: Hit .417 with 27 RBIs, 35 hits and 21 runs scored, including three home runs. As a pitcher, went 14-2 with a 0.65 ERA. PAL Ocean first-teamer and Georgetown commit.

Jazzy Maske, SS, Mills, sophomore: Anchor of Mills’ resurgent season hit .506 with 45 runs scored, 42 hits and 35 runs batted in, including 19 extra-base hits.

Ava Norquist, P, Los Gatos, sophomore: Hit .434 to lead the Cats’ lineup with 13 runs scored, 36 hits, 21 RBIs, seven extra-base hits and two homers. Had perfect fielding percentage while also compiling an ERA of 1.98 with 142 strikeouts in 113 1/3 innings. SCVAL De Anza Division MVP.

Shyla Paredes, IF, Valley Christian, freshman: Freshman keyed Valley’s strong season with a .447 average, 39 runs, 42 hits, 36 RBIs and six home runs. WCAL first-teamer.

Dani Rauscher, SS, Prospect, senior: BVAL Santa Teresa Division MVP batted .574 with 29 runs scored, 35 hits and 35 stolen bases.

Alanys Robertson, P/OF/1B, Castro Valley, senior: Junior hit .511 with 32 runs scored, 24 hits, 26 RBIs and 10 home runs. Had an ERA of 0.85 in 57 1/3 innings. WACC Foothill Division player of the year.

Aaliyah Soderlund, C, Alameda, senior: Backstopped Alameda to a strong season that included a trip to NCS Division I quarterfinals. Hit .354 with 29 hits, 21 RBIs. WACC Foothill first-teamer.

Arli Tatum, C/SS, El Cerrito, freshman: According to MaxPreps, Tatum finished 23rd in state with a .731 batting average, compiling 57 hits in 78 at-bats. She added 63 runs, 52 RBIs, 23 doubles and 10 home runs.

Alexis Weiler, OF, College Park, sophomore: Hit .466 with 20 runs scored, 34 hits, 18 RBIs and 10 extra-base hits. DAL Foothill co-most valuable player.

Taylor Workman, SS, Aragon, sophomore: Co-PAL Bay player of the year. Hit .597 with 43 hits, 28 runs scored, 20 RBIs, 20 extra-base hits and 19 stolen bases.

COACH OF THE YEAR

Brandi Macias, Liberty: Led Liberty to first North Coast Section title in 28 years.
