Mark Hernandez and Aki Buckson had five hits each as the San Rafael Pacifics returned from the all-star break with an 18-5 home win against the Bakersfield Train Robbers on Thursday night.

Hernandez drove in six runs for the Pacifics (32-13 Pecos League), who scored five runs in the second inning and six more in the third to quickly turn the game into a blowout.

San Rafael had 25 hits on the night, including three apiece from Fred Buckson and Kyle Guerra. John Bicos hit his 13th home run of the season and drove in three runs — bringing his season total to 62.

Starting pitcher Chris Allen scattered eight hits over four inning, allowing one earned run and striking out eight.

The Pacifics were set to host Bakersfield (27-18) again on Friday night before welcoming the Vallejo Seaweed to Albert Park on Saturday night.
