


Harpist Emily Linlo, a graduate of the University of Redlands, will give a concert at 5 p.m. Sunday in the Community Room of the Loma Linda Civic Center, 25541 Barton Road.
The concert is presented by Performance Associates, the city of Loma Linda and the Loma Linda Chamber of Commerce.
Linlo, who received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in music performance from the University of Redlands, is principal harpist with the Claremont Symphony Orchestra and was a featured soloist in the Claremont Symphony’s April 2024 performance of Mozart’s Concerto for Flute and Harp.
She was a recent winner in the state solo competition of the California Chapter of the American String Teachers Association and took first place in the chapter’s Los Angeles area competition, according to a news release.
She works with the Dream Orchestra of Los Angeles at Walt Disney Concert Hall and with other ensembles including the Filipino American Symphony Orchestra and Cal State Fullerton’s University Symphony Orchestra.
Tickets for the Sunday concert are $20 for general admission and $10 for seniors and students.
