The San Bernardino Historical and Pioneer Society is seeking donations to help fund repairs to its buildings and more.

The nonprofit Historical Society owns the buildings at its headquarters at Eighth and D streets in San Bernardino, which include the meeting hall, research library and the 1891 Queen Anne Victorian Heritage House, according to a news release..

The Historical Society is facing rising insurance and utility costs, and roof repairs are needed.

In addition, the Historical Society’s San Bernardino History and Railroad History Museum at San Bernardino’s Santa Fe Depot is in a rented space.

In order to cover roof repairs, insurance costs and rent for the San Bernardino History and Railroad History Museum, the Historical Society is seeking $20,000 in donations.

The Historical Society can take cash, checks or Zelle payments, according to the news release.
