Noteworthy: The South Hills lefty threw a no-hitter with 11 strikeouts in a 7-0 victory over Los Altos. On March 21, Moreno had a no-hitter going for 6 2/3 innings against San Dimas, but he couldn’t get the final out because of the 110-pitch rule that forced him to come out of the game. Justin Romero recorded the final out for a combined no-hitter.
