Curious to take a closer look at classic beef traditions, one with roots in Argentina and the other from the world of American grilling?

Cavallo Point’s Cooking School in Sausalito has two upcoming options among its demonstration and hands-on cooking classes.

On May 11, explore Argentina’s beef-loving culture with signature dishes like empanadas and grass-fed rib-eye with chimichurri, plus cast-iron provoleta, grilled vegetables with burrata and dulce de leche banana pudding.

Celebrate Father’s Day on June 15 with a class featuring steakhouse-style crowd-pleasers like the wedge salad with bacon and blue cheese, four-cheese scalloped potatoes, New York steak with herbed compound butter and bananas Foster.

Both run from 5 to 8 p.m. in the 1,200-square-foot teaching kitchen above Farley restaurant at Cavallo Point at 601 Murray Circle in Sausalito.

Tickets include two complimentary drinks (wine, sparkling wine, craft beer or nonalcoholic beverages).
