City Council to discuss Arapahoe Court sale
The Boulder City Council plans to discuss the future of Arapahoe Court, at 951 Arapahoe Ave., according to its meeting agenda for today.
Boulder Housing Partners plans to sell the Arapahoe Court property, according to a staff memo to the council. The property was once a public housing complex and was slated for renovations. But its spot in the 100-year floodplain disqualifies it from being renovated with federal Housing and Urban Development funds, according to city materials.
Boulder Housing Partners has determined that it is in its best interest to dispose of the Arapahoe Court asset and use the proceeds to build additional affordable housing elsewhere, the memo said.
