8. CHARTER OAK (1-0)
Chargers coach Staci Natividad resigned just before the season started, which helps explain why they have played only one game, which was a 14-2 win over Downey. The Chargers are talented. They were 19-3-1 last season and sophomore pitcher Leila Diebert is legit.

9. LOS ALTOS (2-0)

10. CALIFORNIA (3-5)
The Condors have lost four of five and are having problems scoring runs. They recently had a 2-1 loss to Downey and a 1-0 loss to Sonora. They have strong pitching with Pricilla Ramirez and junior Alexis Salas and should bounce back. Still, their start is concerning.
