With boys swimming beginning to dive into the spring sports season, plenty of interesting storylines abound. From state champions to a return from injury, here are the 10 athletes to watch this year.

James Story, Silver Creek: The senior Raptor and reigning Times-Call swimmer of the year dominated in three of his events at the Class 4A state meet, claiming gold in the 100-yard freestyle, the 200-yard freestyle and the 200-yard medley relay.

Chayakorn Ngampatipatpong, Silver Creek: The senior Raptor impressed in his own right to help Silver Creek claim the team title, as he secured top-five marks in the 200 medley relay, the 100 breaststroke (third) and the 400 free relay (fourth).

Gavin Keogh, Monarch: The senior Coyote repeated as the Daily Camera swimmer of the year following his 5A state silvers in the 200-yard freestyle relay and the 100-yard backstroke, scoring 40 points in all.

Ethan DiFronzo, Monarch: An unbreakable tandem, Keogh and DiFronzo teamed up for the 200 free relay and for a fourth-place finish in the 400 free relay. He added bronze in the 100 free to score 39 points.

DK Nakashima, Legacy: The senior Bolt holds the Adams 12 district record in the 100-yard breaststroke and is committed to Florida Tech.
