1. LA SALLE (16-1)
The Lancers have played so well they were ranked No. 4 in the CIF Southern Section’s first in-season rankings. They have taken care of business against some of the SGV’s top teams, beating Flintridge Prep and Bonita. The big test is how they will fare in the Del Rey League after finishing third last year.

2. FLINTRIDGE PREP (11-1)
The Wolves were undefeated before a 54-44 loss to La Salle in the semifinals of the Glendora tournament. They’re already 4-0 in the Prep League and won’t have many more challenging tests before the playoffs. They were ranked ninth in the CIF Southern Section’s first in-season rankings and look like a lock for the Division 1 playoffs.

3. GLENDORA (13-4)
The Tartans rebounded well from a loss to nationally ranked Sierra Canyon in the opener of their tournament by winning their next three games to win the consolation title. They have stretched their winning streak to four games. They’re 1-0 in the Palomares League with a tough one against Diamond Bar on Tuesday.

4. BONITA (14-4)
The Bearcats went toe-to-toe with La Salle for much of last week’s game and were tied at half before losing 48-39. Lexi Mercado has shot the ball well and they’re hoping their schedule keeps them sharp for the Palomares League, where they have a tough road game Tuesday at Claremont.

5. SOUTH PASADENA (7-3)
The Tigers have won seven straight since an 0-3 start. Senior forward/center Kayla Boozer is putting up player of the year worthy numbers, averaging 30 points with 12 rebounds. They have a big game Friday against La Canada in the Rio Hondo League, and then have a test against Keppel in nonleague action.

6. DIAMOND BAR (6-3)
The Brahmas have played only nine games and havn’t played since a Dec. 19 loss to Bonita, 54-41, in the Palomares League opener. They return with a tough game Tuesday at Glendora followed by a game against Ayala. The Brahmas have a solid team, but the Palomares League is tough.

7. DIAMOND RANCH (10-5)
The Panthers lost to Chino 43-41 in tournament play but get a rematch at home Wednesday in the Mt. Baldly League opener. They have some strong wins this season, including 38-25 over San Dimas.

8. SONORA (10-7)
After a strong start, the Raiders have lost five of six games as they get ready for the Freeway League opener against La Habra on Tuesday. The Raiders have struggled against tough opponents, but have blown out the teams they were supposed to.

9. LA CANADA (11-5)
Senior Jennifer Musso is having a solid season, averaging 12 points a game, and the Spartans played well in recent games. They did lose to Rio Hondo League rival South Pasadena, 53-51, in tournament play, but get a rematch in league Friday.

10. CANTWELL SACRED HEART (9-3)
The Cardinals haven’t played the toughest schedule, but they have fared well in solid tests, losing a close game, 44-41, against La Canada. They have wins over Northview, Rowland and Murrieta Mesa. They beat Ramona Convent to open the Camino Real League.
