


Michigan will open the season with consecutive night games for the first time in program history.
The Wolverines kick off the season Aug. 30 with their first meeting against New Mexico on NBC at 7:30 p.m. and the next week will play their road showdown against Oklahoma on ABC at 7:30 p.m.
The Big Ten announced some kickoff times and network designations on Thursday.
This will be Michigan’s first trip to Oklahoma and the first time the programs have played since the 1976 Orange Bowl.
Michigan will face Central Michigan on Sept. 13 at noon on the Big Ten Network.
This will be the fifth meeting between the two in-state schools and the first since 2013.
The Wolverines open the Big Ten schedule at Nebraska on Sept. 20 at 3:30 p.m. on CBS. The Wolverines are 5-2 in the series since Nebraska joined the conference in 2011.
Following a bye, Michigan returns to Michigan Stadium to face Wisconsin on Oct. 4. The homecoming game will kickoff at either noon or 3:30 p.m. The television network and kick time will be determined at a later date.
The Michigan-Ohio State game in Ann Arbor on Nov. 29 was already set for noon on Fox.
