Guard Gary Harris returned to action Monday night in the Nuggets’ home game against the Trail Blazers. Harris had missed the previous 11 games with a sprained right knee.
The Nuggets entered the night needing one win in their final two games to clinch their first playoff berth since 2013. Harris, 23, was averaging 17.7 points, including 48.6 percent from the floor and 40 percent from 3-point range.
The Cavaliers will sign 13-year veteran Kendrick Perkins on Wednesday to fill their final roster spot for the playoffs, ESPN reported. rkins, 33, was a member of the Cavs’ 2015 championship team. ...
