BOYS SOCCER DIVISION II

Bishop Amat 2, La Costa Canyon 0: The Lancers got off to a good start in the CIF regional playoffs as striker Matthew Ibarra scored both goals in the victory at home Tuesday.

Ibarra gave the Lancers a 1-0 lead in the 20th minute. He added a second tally midway through the second half, and the Lancers’ defense did the rest.
